Mezmeriz has developed a novel Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) platform based on the integration of carbon fibers with traditional MEMS materials. This new materials set allows Mezmeriz to design and fabricate MEMS devices with unique and application-specific optimized properties. Currently Mezmeriz has leveraged its materials technology in developing scanning micro-mirror modules capable of ± 45 degree mechanical excursions at tens of kHz scan speeds.
MezmerizMezmeriz manufactures pico-projector modules that can be embedded within mobile devices. These tiny modules consist of two microscopic mirrors that scan red, green, and blue laser light to project vivid, always in focus, video images onto any surface.
Mezmeriz’s unique carbon-fiber MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) micro-mirror platform results in 10-15” diagonal, high resolution images to be projected from less than 6” away, extending the mobile phone display to provide a laptop-like experience.
